Recorded: 1976 Label: ECM Comments: Pat's first CD, Bright Size Life is an incredible introduction of his genius, with most of the songs penned by the 19 year old. This recording also shows off Jaco Pastorius' incredible facility on the bass. A must have for all Pat Metheny fans.

This trio went into the studio, turned on the microphones, and just started playing...just incredible interplay that is fresh and sublime, all at the same time.
