Title: Kelly Blue
Personnel: Wynton Kelly (piano), Nat Adderley (cornet), Bobby Jaspar (flute), Benny Golson (tenor saxophone), Paul Chambers (bass), Jimmy Cobb (drums).
Recorded: 1960
Label: Prestige
Comments: Wynton Kelly is one of the most swinging piansts of his time. His light touch and perfect, bluesy phrasing, landed him the piano chair in many bands of his era - the most highly exposed being with Miles Davis. He had half-a-dozen recordings as a leader, including Kelly Blue, that are just the epitome of swing.

Title: Wes Montgomery - Smokin' At The Halfnote
Personnel: Wynton Kelly (piano), Wes Montgomery (guitar), Paul Chambers (bass), Jimmy Cobb (drums).
Recorded: 1965
Label: Verve
Comments:  After their stint with Miles Davis, Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers, and Jimmy Cobb set out on their own to form the Wynton Kelly Trio. On this album, they team up with the guitar legend, Wes Montgomery, to create one of the most grooving-est groups ever! A classic CD that can't be missed.

Title: Joe Henderson - Four!
Personnel: Wynton Kelly (piano), Joe Henderson (tenor saxophone), Paul Chambers (bass), Jimmy Cobb (drums).
Recorded: 1968
Label: Verve
Comments: This CD came out in the late 90's as a mild surprise, since this recording had been long forgotten. Joe Henderson's modern approach placed on top of the more traditional Wynton Kelly Trio lends itself to some very interesting interplay. A nice recording of the time, as the jazz world was inching it's way towards the fusion sounds of the 70's and more and more musicians were fleeing to Europe.
